It was a hit, as you can tell & Jason stocked up for winter :) Thank goodness for tax free forms!
I was so desperate for my coffee that I don't really even mind the huge transformer that now must sit our counter.
Kurbis means pumpkin in German and with the Labor Day weekend over, I'm starting to see signs of Fall pop up around town. We attended a Pumpkin Festival over the weekend. It was in the middle of a plowed corn field with a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. The festival itself was just ok. There were a lot more things to do for the kids than there were for the adults, which I expected, so we did a lap, got something to eat, and Jason humored me while I filled up a bag of gourds to put around the house :) After the pumpkin festival, we drove to Darmstadt where a co-worker had told Jason about a giant beer & wine store that had a huge selection of beers from all over the world. Most shops here in Germany only carry the major German brands. Besides this shop, I have yet to see any beer sold that was not made in Germany. It was a hit, as you can tell & Jason stocked up for winter :) Thank goodness for tax free forms! On a final note, our transformers finally arrived and I was able to have coffee from our Keurig this morning. It was glorious. I'm convinced that my coffee is superior to all others.
