I came across Petit Collage this morning and wanted to share. She's been featured in Land of Nod and Dwell. The artist, Lorena Siminovich, is located in San Francisco. She strives to create children's goods that are high quality and made sustainably in the US. Click on the images below to check her out!
I'm loving the new homepage on Etsy where it prompts different collections. This was my biggest complaint with the site that's otherwise wonderful - you couldn't browse. Now I just need my friends all to all start browsing and favoriting things too, so like on Pinterest, I can have lots of different cool stuff to look at.

We finally made the trip to Frankfurt this past weekend to check out the cool mall where the Chipotle is. It was a very cool mall, although not as big as I had thought it'd be. They had a starbucks and the Chipotle didn't disappoint, so no complaining here.
I have wanted to compost for a long time, but doing it while living in an apartment has always seemed to difficult (and gross) for me to really pursue.
I found the above compost bin and compostable liners on Vine.com recently, however, and so far its been great! I've had the bin for a week now and have thrown everything from raw meat, vegetables, and coffee grounds into it and it doesn't smell. When the bin starts to get full, you tie up the little liners just like you would a normal trash bag in a trash can and throw it away. The liner will eventually compost and so will its contents - therefore not adding to a landfill.
I just wanted to share in case anyone else was interested in composting. Click the link above or the image to check it out.
I have been on Etsy & Pintrest browsing overload. There's not a lot on TV here and so when I'm in the hotel room, my options of what to do are limited. We're going to be here for 2 more weeks, so I don't expect to slow down anytime soon. I thought I'd share some of the fruits from my labor though.

Drool-worthy, but pricey...
Much More Practical...
I thought when we came back to the States, my days of online shopping (with exceptions such as Amazon) would drastically decrease....wrong.
I found these super cute and really affordable sandals on Amazon this weekend and I thought I'd share. They have every color under the sun, so have fun!
In case you're in need of solid facts to support your need to buy nice bedding (like me!), Apartment Therapy featured this tidbit this week: "If the average person sleeps for eight hours each night, at the end of a year we will have spent 2,920 hours under the covers"
Here are some that caught my eye this week.
Yesterday consisted of me being lazy most of the day after working late the night before, and then finding the need to get out of the house right when it started to snow fairly hard. Not my best idea, but I made it just fine, as I shopped in the snow. I feel like this is retribution for sort of a lame winter. Its supposed to continue to lightly snow through noon. I wish it would snow harder now that I'm cozy in the house!
We finally got Rosetta Stone for German yesterday! We had been holding off on ordering it because its sooo expensive. Jason was able to find a coupon though, through Facebook of all places, and decided to just go for it. I did lesson 1 last night. It seems cool. I can't remember every word it showed me, but I trust that there's a method to their madness.
My selection of glasses to try on AND my new laptop came in the mail yesterday!
I've been struggling with Windows 8 today, grr... change is hard to swallow.
